Annual Birthday Picture

Well another year has gone. I'm 27 this year! Anyways annual birthday picture with my twin.

Cousins!

Kaity and Andy came to cali after a long road trip with their two kids. Seen here is my beautiful cousin Kaity, (she is five months pregnant) and her daughter Grace, (who is two and a half months older than Lily.)

Best Big Sister!

Sorry its been a while since my last posting but things have been busy since Ryan arrived. Lily at first wasn't too thrilled with having a little brother but now she has the hang of it. She likes to give him kisses, help with diaper changes and is always very concerned that he is not wearing a hat. She also likes to do tummy time with him.

Can't Sleep

It's two a.m. I can't sleep. The alarm is set to go off at five in the morning so we can get up get dressed and head to the hospital. I don't think I'm going to sleep at all. So much for being well rested!

First Haircut!

On Friday Lily had her first haircut. It was just her bangs. I was told she sat still and was very good. Umm...I didn't go. She normally screams at the hair salon and is still a little afraid of the blow dryer.

1 week to go!

Cousin Addeline has been over to play a couple times in the last week. We discovered that the girls have the same PJ's in the same size! The other thing we discovered is that it's difficult to get a good picture of the two of them smiling at the same time.
Lastly, I have one week to go before my Scheduled C-section and the new baby arrives. I'm to tired and gigantic to deal with cleaning and enetertaining Lily all day so we watch tv and eat candy...Don't tell Daddy!

Bed Head

So Iam officialy on maternity leave from work now. Let me tell you those 12 hour shifts on my feet all day when your eight months pregnant is pretty tough. So I'm glad to be at home for a while now.

We have three weeks till baby brother arrives! The nursery is all set up. I have a few items of clothing and the house is clean! Now if only it would stay that way.

You may be wondering what I am doing with all my free time now. For one I'm trying to avoid the heat. I don't really want to know what the A/C bill is going to be next month! Also I'm trying out my fabulous homemaking skills. (LOL) I made homemade blueberry muffins this morning for the family. Lily could hardly wait for them to come out of the oven. Here is a picture of my little bed-head and also the finished product of my baking attmept. They even tasted good too!

The Gang's All Here!

We had a really fun Sunday afternoon as a family. All of my siblings and their spouses got together for a BBQ. The weather has been mild for this time of year so we are enjoying every minute of it.

One of those days

So I was trying to wrestle Lily into her diaper and PJ's when she peed on the floor. I'm roughly 32-33 weeks pregnant and really the last thing I wanted to do was clean pee out of the carpet. I nearly cried. Earlier as I was preparing dinner I had filled a little doll bottle with water for Lily twice. I thought she was drinking it... what I discovered was that she was actually dumping it all over the coffee table. Oh well I guess it's just one of those days...
