IT'S A BOY! and other news

I put Lily down for her nap and when I went to check on her this is how i found her sleeping! I had to take a picture!

For those of you who haven't already heard the news: its a boy! He is as of yet unnamed. We are tossing around some ideas so if you have any suggestions let us know:) Adrian and Lily are excited for a new baby brother!

I can see the future

I was doing laundry when I heard Lily chattering away to something. This is what I found: She had my blackberry and was having an imaginary conversation with someone. I locked my keyboard so she couldn't"t make any actual calls. This "phone call" lasted ten minutes. I can only imagine the future cell phone bills 15 years from now...

Valentine Suprise

So I was going to be working the whole Valentines weekend, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Which means I wasn't going to spend anytime with those that I love. So when I got home from work last night there were these gorgeous flowers and a box of chocolate covered strawberries. Adrian had also ordered dinner from Thai Basil our favorite Thai food place. It was so amazing. I wasn't expecting it since he had already brought me lunch to work and another box of strawberries to share with my coworkers. Best husband ever. And then work called me early like at five and wanted to know if I wanted the day off! I did! Hooray!

Junior Mints

We have discovered that Lily loves junior mints! I just have one question: Is it wrong to make her dance for them?

Christmas Cheer!

Sorry about the late post. But this new baby has been making me sick all the time and I haven't had the energy to post anything. Christmas seemed quick this year. It came and went before we really even knew what happened. Adrian and I both had to work Christmas eve so it wasn't really the same anyways. that being said we had a really lovely time both at my parents, (I made the prime rib!) and at Adrians. We only took pictures though of our small christmas morining at home. Lily was just figuring out how to open presenets. I'm sure next year she'll figure it all out. So to everyone we love Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!.

Happy Halloween!

A year ago today I was in the hospital having lily and completely missed halloween. It was the first year that I hadn't dressed up. So we went to a halloween party and I was a movie star and Lily was a nurse. I've always felt like I was born in the wrong decade. I look to comfortable in my vintage clothes from the 50's.

It took 45 minutes to get to the Pumpkin Farm. Look at the happy campers!
